Approximately 600,000 people in the UK have epilepsy which is equivalent to around 1 in 103 people. Unfortunately, there are at least 40 different seizure types and people may have one or several different seizure types. For Christmas this year, we have chosen to donate to The Young Epilepsy Charity. There is a reason for this. Natasha, our Funeral Director at our Lee On Solent office holds Young Epilepsy very close to her heart after the birth of her daughter Eslyn, in 2017. Young Epilepsy has been a support network for both her and her family, as well as thousands of other people in the UK who have suffered from the effects of Epilepsy. 

Young Epilepsy are the children's and young peoples charity who support those in need when diagnosed with epilepsy. They have a helpline which you can call for questions, advice, or just general reassurance. Please see details below for more information.
